This design was inspired by shards of ancient Greek pottery found in the British Museum, pieced together as if to recreate the original object. By combining several tiny print fragments from the Liberty archive, this considered arrangement mimics the distinctive look of Greek terracotta pottery, with its bold two-colour palette and fine line detailing.
